

2 tablespoons oil
1 red cabbage, chopped into medium-sized pieces
1 onion, chopped
2 apples, chopped
½ cup cider vinegar
½ cup brown sugar
¼ cup red wine
Heat oil and sauté cabbage and onion over medium heat until softened. Add apples, vinegar and sugar. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer for about 20 minutes. Add wine and simmer 5 minutes longer.
