With all the cooking we do, it’s funny but the kids still wake up hungry. “ Seriously, you don’t want another yogurt and we are out of that yucky Passover cereal? And No! You cannot start the day with another brownie”, sound familiar?
This year we have a few recipes that will potentially start your day or your chol hamoed trip off to a better, full stomach start. First is Passover granola, we love it for breakfast with yogurt and fruit or as an on-the-go snack. Next try the Blueberry muffins or Apple Sweet Potato Muffins. Or try these two traditional recipes below, for Matzo Pancakes or Matzo Brei. Get creative too, make matzo brei for lunch and top it with guacamole and salsa. Or some smoked salmon and sour cream. Or make pancakes and serve them with cooked applesauce.
