

Asian Almond Butter Sauce

Ingredients
- 1 cup almond butter
- 2 tablespoons hot water
- 2 teaspoons freshly grated ginger
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
- 2 scallions, chopped
- 1 ½ teaspoons Passover soy sauce, optional
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro, optional (or use parsley)
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- Salt, if needed
Instructions
- For the sauce: In a small bowl, whisk almond butter, hot water, ginger, garlic, vinegar, scallions, soy sauce, cilantro, and black pepper until creamy. Add salt if needed, or if the almond butter has no salt in it; start with about ¼ teaspoon kosher salt.
- Serve as a sauce for grilled chicken or steak, or as a dip.
